TrainingThe Diamonds, as a club train at the Hull Ice Arena, Kingston Street, Hull, HU1 2DZ, once a week on a tuesday night. 9:30pm to 11:00pm. It may seem late but once your hooked on this sport it wont seem to matter. All three teams are on the ice at once when training, there will be a mix of abilities on the ice during training. Ranging from complete beginners to girls who have represented Great Britain. Ages vary from 8 years old to 35+ We welcome anyone and we do not discriminate against anyone if they have the ability to skate at a beginners standard. (See section 6 of the constitution) The club has a team in each field of ability in the UK. -Under 16's -Division One -Premier With the benifit of everyone training together, the less experienced girls are pushed to develop themselves as ice hockey players against the more experienced players. Prior to getting on the ice for training, off-ice training usually commences at 8:30pm. Working on fitness and core strength, finnished with a warm up and stretches before kitting up to get on the ice. The cost of training for non-registered players is £5 everytime you come.
